Digital Media Specialist

Organization: New Vintage Church

Status: Part Time

Hours: 20 hours a week, schedule may vary. 

Salary: $16-20/hr DOE

 

OVERVIEW

We are currently seeking a creative and organized Digital Media Coordinator to help manage  our social and digital marketing efforts.  The Digital Media Coordinator will be responsible for managing the day-to-day execution of social media, video production, graphic design and photography. 

 

What You Will Do:

  • Manage the day-to-day social media and digital marketing strategy

  • Organize and manage campaign assets (copy, photos, video, etc)

  • Organize and manage content/editorial calendar for team

  • Proactively communicate project details such as timelines, status, and completion with staff and volunteers

  • Have experience generating, editing, publishing, and sharing content daily across multiple platforms that  tells a story, and accurately conveys the vision and values of NVC 

  • Monitor and analyze activity on social platforms to evaluate the effectiveness of campaigns 

  • Communicate with and coordinate volunteers and team members in a way that is clear, encouraging, and inspirational.

What You Will Bring

  • A Bachelor’s Degree or applicable work experience.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Outstanding organizational skills

  • Experience in ministry a huge plus

  • Knowledge of social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, etc)

  • Understanding of and willingness to serve within the doctrinal commitments of the church 

  • A growing Christian faith and character 

  • A passion and love for the local church. 

  • Proficiency in:  Final Cut, Adobe Creative Suite
